The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Expeditor (Procurement Planner) to join the Projects Management Unit (PMU) and play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment supporting major capital projects. You will be responsible for managing complex, high-value, and time-sensitive purchase orders from placement through manufacturing, inspection, documentation approval, final release, and shipment readiness. Working closely with suppliers, EPC contractors, Procurement, Quality Management, Logistics, and Project Management Teams, you will proactively manage delivery risks, drive supplier performance, and implement recovery plans to keep project schedules on track. This role requires extensive travel across Europe to conduct supplier, manufacturer, and EPC contractor visits, monitor production progress, resolve delivery challenges, and support the timely delivery of critical project materials and equipment. Key Responsibilities Monitor, coordinate, and expedite the delivery of project materials and equipment to meet project schedules. Investigate root causes of delayed materials and identify potential supply chain risks. Develop and track mitigation plans, recovery schedules, and corrective actions to address delivery issues. Follow up with vendors, manufacturers, and EPC contractors to ensure timely implementation of agreed actions. Coordinate closely with Procurement & Supply Chain Management Department (PSCMD), Quality Management Department (QMD), project teams, and suppliers to ensure compliance with approved standards and procedures. Act as the focal point during expediting assignments and provide detailed progress reports and visit findings to stakeholders. Plan and execute vendor, manufacturer, and EPC contractor visits to assess manufacturing progress and delivery readiness. Monitor fabrication, inspection, testing, shipping, and delivery milestones through project completion. Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and delivery forecasts to Project Management Teams (PMTs). Identify potential schedule slippages and proactively drive solutions to protect project milestones. Support procurement planning activities and material status reporting across multiple projects. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in: Expediting Procurement Supply Chain Management Materials Management Project Management EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) environments Mandatory Aramco project experience and knowledge of Aramco standards and project execution requirements Proven experience managing: Complex and high-value purchase orders Vendor expediting and supplier performance Material tracking and logistics coordination Manufacturing progress monitoring Recovery planning and schedule mitigation Large-scale industrial, energy, or capital projects Strong stakeholder management, communication, and supplier engagement skills. Ability to work independently and influence suppliers and project stakeholders to achieve critical delivery commitments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, or Business Administration. Experience supporting oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Knowledge of procurement systems, material management tools, and project controls. Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or European Senior Logistician are advantageous. Why Join Us? Core Responsibilities

Requirements

At least 8 years of relevant experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain, materials management, project management, or EPC environments is required, along with mandatory Aramco project experience and knowledge of Aramco standards. Candidates should have experience with high-value purchase orders, supplier performance, material tracking, manufacturing progress, and recovery planning; a relevant bachelor's degree and certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or European Senior Logistician are preferred or advantageous.
