About the client
Our client is a leading European healthcare solutions provider, supplying medical products and services to hospitals, care organisations, pharmacies and patients at home across multiple European markets. The organisation plays a vital role in the healthcare supply chain and is currently strengthening its commercial organisation to drive performance and accountability.

The role
The client is looking for an Interim Chief of Staff to bring structure, rhythm and clarity to a fast-moving commercial environment. Reporting to a senior commercial leader, you will set up the governance, meeting cadences and KPI routines that form the "commercial heartbeat" of the business, so the team can manage performance proactively rather than reactively. Alongside this, you will pick up focused, short-term commercial projects as priorities emerge. This is an interim assignment of around three months while we secure a permanent hire.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a clear commercial governance framework, including meeting structures, decision rights and escalation paths.

• Set up and run the commercial meeting cadence: agendas, standing materials, minutes and action tracking.

• Define, collate and track commercial KPIs and targets, ensuring the right data is ready for each review.

• Build clear, compelling slide narratives for senior management, particularly when performance deviates from plan (root cause, impact, corrective actions).

• Help translate plans into priorities and keep initiatives moving through to delivery.

• Lead or support ad hoc commercial projects as required.

What you bring

• A background in strategy or management consulting, ideally as a Manager at a Big 4 firm or Senior Consultant at MBB or a strategy boutique.

• Proven experience in transformation, programme management or chief-of-staff-type roles.

• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of what drives commercial performance.

• Excellent slide-building and storytelling skills; you can turn data into a clear storyline quickly.

• Highly organised, structured and comfortable bringing order to ambiguity.

• Confident working with senior stakeholders and driving change without formal authority.

• An MBA is a plus; healthcare or distribution experience is welcome but not required.
