Product Designer

About the role
We’re looking for a Product Designer to help us design and ship new products at Aru Labs.
You’ll work from early ideas and prototypes through to polished, shipped products. You’ll work closely with engineers and product, with a lot of ownership over the final experience.
What you’ll do
Design web and mobile products from 0 → 1
Turn ideas into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
Work closely with engineers throughout development
Create simple, intuitive user experiences
Build and maintain design systems
Test ideas and iterate based on user feedback
Help shape product direction, not just the interface
What we’re looking for
Strong product design fundamentals
Excellent UI and interaction design skills
Strong portfolio of shipped work
Experience with Figma
Good understanding of user experience and product thinking
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently in a remote team
Nice to have
Experience designing consumer products
Experience working at an early-stage startup
Motion or interaction design skills
Experience with AI products

Core Responsibilities

Requirements
The ideal candidate has strong product design fundamentals and a portfolio demonstrating shipped work. Proficiency in Figma and experience with user experience principles are essential for this role.
