This is a temporary position to cover a colleague's maternity leave, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in project administration and financial support within a leading offshore company. At Allseas, a global leader in offshore engineering, you'll join our Project Planning & Cost Control Department in Delft as a Junior Project Cost Controller. In this role, you will support project teams with a wide range of administrative and financial coordination activities while gaining insight into how large offshore projects are managed and reported. Your role As a Junior Project Cost Controller, you provide administrative and financial support to several offshore projects (heavy lift or pipelay). You help ensure project information is accurately recorded, maintained and reported, supporting both project teams and cost controllers in their day-to-day activities. A significant part of your role consists of preparing reports, maintaining project data, assisting with invoicing processes, supporting budget updates and ensuring information is processed correctly in our systems. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will guide you through the various financial and administrative workflows. We continuously improve our processes by standardising, simplifying and automating reporting systems and ways of working. You will support these improvement initiatives and assist with the ongoing implementation and use of our SAP ERP system. While supporting specific projects, you will also work closely with Project Managers and Cost Controllers. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and financial support to project teams. Maintain project data and ensure information is accurately processed in internal systems. Assist in the preparation of recurring project reports and forecasts. Support the collection, verification and organisation of project-related financial information. Prepare data for cash flow overviews and other periodic reports. Assist with client invoicing and monitor the administrative follow-up of outstanding receivables. Support Project Managers and Cost Controllers with budget updates, documentation and change administration. Help ensure project records and reporting files remain complete and up to date. Assist with project close-out activities and documentation. Support the implementation and day-to-day use of the SAP ERP system. Assist other Cost Controllers with standardised reporting activities, project administration and financial system maintenance. What we expect from you BSc degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field. 0-1 year of work experience, including internships or administrative experience. Strong organisational skills and a structured way of working. Accurate, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data and administrative processes. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Excel is a plus. Good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Requirements
