As a Software Designer C#/C++/JAVA, you develop software for high-tech products and machines. In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. From our office in Apeldoorn or at our clients’ premises, you enjoy working on: Translating customer and system requirements into innovative, clear, and feasible concepts during the conceptual phase of projects. Acting as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective. Taking responsibility for a module/subsystem throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Ensuring software quality, scalability and maintainability through sound engineering practices. Applying strong communication skills to effectively guide and mentor a team of engineers, helping them grow and deliver high-quality results. Sounds good? We’d love to tell you more… Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table You have a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering. You have 7+ years of experience in technical software development, gained in various roles and across diverse product environments and/or projects. Over the past 4–5 years, you have worked within technical domains such as Semicon, Medical, or Analytical. You have experience with at least two of the following programming languages: C#, C++, or Java. You have knowledge of and/or experience with various development methodologies and techniques such as Design Patterns, UML, and Agile, and you keep your technical expertise up to date. You are looking for an environment where you can apply these developments in practice as well. Based on your experience, you are able to coach junior engineers. You are a team player and keep the common goal in mind. You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. You hold a valid European driver’s license and are willing to travel. Core Responsibilities

You will translate customer and system requirements into innovative software designs while acting as a technical bridge between architects and engineers. Additionally, you will take responsibility for modules throughout the development lifecycle and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and possess over 7 years of experience in technical software development. Proficiency in at least two of C#, C++, or Java is required, along with experience in domains like Semicon, Medical, or Analytical industries.
