Job Description

The System AIT (SAIT) team at ISISPACE, is responsible for the satellite-level integration and test activities within our satellite projects. It is a dynamic team where last-minute work is not rare and problems need to be solved on the spot, while maintaining a high-quality standard. We are looking for a Team Lead who makes sure that everything runs smoothly and create an inspiring, healthy team environment with open communication lines. If required, Team Leads may also contribute to discipline-specific work alongside their team members. Specific tasks and responsibilities include: Strategic Alignment & Planning Translate department goals and initiatives into clear team objectives and plans. Define priorities, expected results, and assign team members to projects based on needs, competencies, and capacity. Support resource planning in coordination with internal stakeholders. Team Leadership & Development Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the discipline team. Provide professional guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Monitor progress, address issues, and escalate where necessary. Conduct performance reviews and identify development and training needs in alignment with management. Process & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain team processes and improvements in alignment with company and department initiatives. Ensure team processes are documented and adhered to. Coordinate process improvements with other stakeholders, teams, and departments. Ensure team members comply with applicable processes, standards, rules, and regulations, and address deviations. Collaboration & Culture Facilitate effective collaboration with internal stakeholders. Promote a positive, professional, and supportive team environment. Support recruitment and onboarding where applicable. Degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or a related field. Previous experience in space systems AIT. Proven experience in a leadership or team management role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide, mentor, and collaborate effectively. Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable team objectives. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations. Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day activities and long-term initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering and possess proven experience in space systems AIT. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to manage team activities and ensure compliance with technical processes.
