Location: Rotterdam Hello there! Are you our new Greentech Engineering Project Manager? Let’s see! An Engineering Project Manager at TransitionHERO leads a number of our project engineering teams and combines technical knowledge with a passion to drive teams. You lead projects with enthusiasm and love to spark creativity in teams. You are able to grasp client drivers and convert them into concrete designs. While having a background in process engineering, you bring in technical know-how on how to execute challenging projects and can also act as design lead in the early stage of projects. What you bring: You’ve got the track record. You’ve been around. It’s not a numbers game but you’ve probably been a project manager for at least 5 years and know how to manage innovative projects at concept and basic design stages. Your heart beats engineering. You have a process engineering background and have managed projects in an engineering company, so you know exactly what your engineers are actually wrestling. You speak Dutch (preferred). A fair share of our clients and projects run in Dutch, and we’d like you to be comfortable there. You manage costs and schedule. You can build a project budget and schedule, defend it in front of a client, and remain on target during the execution of the project. You’re flexible. Clients change their minds, project scopes shift, and you adapt to new insights without losing the plan. You want to make Impact. You have a real interest in energy, sustainability, or in actually being part of the transition. You’re independent and reliable. We can build on your hands-on approach for the execution of projects but can also rely on you to ask for support when needed. You can speak jargon-free. You can explain to our clients what’s important and why it matters to them, in language that lands. You are a rock for your team. Your team trust you and they know you’ve got their back. People should feel safe around you, and you support their growth. You have opinions. And you can articulate them. You are not afraid to tell our director when he or she is saying something that doesn’t make any sense. And we will listen to it. Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in project management within an engineering company, specifically with a background in process engineering. Proficiency in Dutch is preferred, and you must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and the ability to manage complex project lifecycles.
