Our advanced platform, sparesinmotion.com, efficiently connects buyers and suppliers worldwide. For our Rotterdam location, we are looking for a highly motivated, full-time Warehouse Supervisor. About the Role In this hands-on supervisory role, you will report directly to the Manager Warehouse, OFC and Logistics. You will lead the daily operations on the warehouse floor. Together with the team, you are responsible for all daily warehouse activities at our Rotterdam branch. Your Responsibilities Overseeing smooth operations and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Managing shift schedules to guarantee continuous staffing between 07:30 and 16:30 / 17:00. Onboarding and training new employees and proactively initiating process improvements. Collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills. Supervise the daily activities in the warehouse. Working actively on the floor: physically receiving, inspecting, and systematically logging incoming goods. Picking, repacking, and preparing outbound shipments for international clients while ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurate and complete. Handling a wide variety of components and spare parts, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic parts, as well as consumables. Executing daily inbound and outbound logistics tasks. Preparing and completing warehouse orders for scheduled delivery or pickup. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment. Proven experience in receiving and packing goods. An organized, structured, and highly accurate working style. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor. In possession of a valid forklift certificate. Resident of Rotterdam (or the surrounding area) and able to be present at the warehouse early in the morning. Computer literate, including practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
