Visionarx GmbH is looking for a highly experienced, hands-on HSE professional to oversee construction safety at a food manufacturing facility in Veghel, covering both new construction and modification works within an operational industrial environment. We are looking for someone who understands how construction works are carried out—not just how procedures are written. Someone who can anticipate risks, challenge unsafe practices, guide contractors and work closely with the client and project team to find safe, practical solutions. Your role Lead day-to-day site HSE coordination, ensuring works follow project safety requirements, VCA** standards and the facility’s procedures. Review and challenge risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work arrangements, particularly for demolition, excavation, lifting operations, work at height, hot works, confined spaces and energy isolation. Maintain a strong presence on site, conducting inspections, delivering inductions and toolbox talks, investigating incidents and near misses, and following corrective actions through to closure. Coordinate safety across contractors and ongoing factory operations, paying close attention to simultaneous activities, work-area segregation, hygiene requirements and contamination prevention. What you bring Substantial HSE experience in industrial construction and modification projects, ideally within food manufacturing or similarly controlled production environments. A recognised occupational safety qualification, preferably MVK/HVK, with a strong technical or engineering background. Practical knowledge of VCA** requirements and a valid VOL-VCA diploma or accepted equivalent are expected. Sound judgement and confident communication. You can work independently, earn the respect of site teams and intervene decisively when work is unsafe—while maintaining constructive working relationships. Strong English and Dutch language skills; German is an advantage. You must be able to commute to Veghel daily and be comfortable working in a demanding, changing site environment.
