To support our continued growth and development for our location in Helmond, we are looking for an ambitious: Data Analyst The Role As a Data Analyst you will bring our organization further in our mission by contributing to data-driven cost optimization, creation of novel insights, and creation of future commercial opportunities. Success will be measured along factors like impact on energy reduction, yield increase and time-to-market. You inspire our organization by your expertise, adaptability and your constructive way of working and thinking to go the extra mile, also in areas where ‘next levels’ must still be installed. Furthermore you have the willingness to support your colleagues with any other activities when needed in special cases (e.g. supporting farm work around holiday periods or in case of incidents). Key Responsibilities Analyse data & prepare data in dashboards Provide insights in scientific, business and operational parameters to support decision making via dashboard and analysis. Support in data governance and data management initiatives. Support end-to-end projects: write proposals, design trials & experiments, execute in teams. Stay abreast of technological advancements externally and integrate relevant innovations into Blue Skies Discovery, either by implementation or by collaborations. Ensure compliance with safety, ethical, and sustainability standards. Your Profile Experience & Education MSc with 3+ years, or BSc with 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, information systems or related. Experience in Vertical Farming is a plus, but not a requirement.Proficiency in R. Other languages like Python or Julia are a plus. Proficiency in Dashboarding and reporting; presenting to diverse stakeholders Knowledge in modeling of biological systems is a plus Experience with databases, cloud services or Docker is a plus. Skills & Competences Strong proficiency in English, preferably also Dutch. Accurate and structured way of thinking, with attention to detail. Strong team player with ability to work independently. Fast learner, open to innovation, efficient multitasker. Affinity with project management and operational excellence activities. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. Demonstrate strong (self-)leadership and organizational awareness. Core Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will create dashboards and provide insights into scientific, business, and operational parameters to support data-driven decision-making. They will also support end-to-end projects, including designing trials and integrating technological innovations into the company's operations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MSc with 3+ years or a BSc with 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields. Proficiency in R and experience with dashboarding and reporting are required, while knowledge of biological systems and cloud services is considered a plus.
