What you are going to do You are responsible for the creation and implementation of a modular software architecture for our continuously expanding codebase Improve and optimize the performance of existing and new code You will be working in the Motion Planning team, so it is a plus if you have some understanding of related maths and physics such that you are able to understand the code You deliver high quality work and follow proper development processes You will help guide developers with less experience in your team. You should have enough experience such that you need limited guidance yourself. You will be responsible for improving and optimizing software processes Designing and implementing secure, high-performance APIs in Azure What we are looking for Enough experience to be able to perform the above-mentioned tasks independently Passion for creating efficient, organized, and readable code A creative and problem-solving mindset It is a plus if you are familiar with C#, Azure and ROS2 You are a self-starter, who can work independently as well as in a team Hands-on and can-do attitude You are great at finding simple solutions for complex problems Strong analytical thinking skills BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar Good written and spoken English skills You are able to focus on the big picture What we offer 27 vacation days and 13 additional days off (based on a 40-hour workweek) An enthusiastic team in a scale-up environment where you are given a lot of freedom and responsibility Participation in a pension scheme via the PME pension fund Will you become our new Software Engineer? 👉 Send your CV (motivation letter is optional) to: [email protected]
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and implementing a modular software architecture while optimizing existing code within the Motion Planning team. Additionally, you will design secure, high-performance APIs in Azure and provide guidance to less experienced developers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in software development and a strong understanding of mathematics and physics. A BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required, along with proficiency in C#, Azure, and ROS2.
