Lead Project Engineer IRM. N-Sea is looking for a Lead Project Engineer IRM to join our team. As a Lead Project Engineer IRM at N-Sea, you will spearhead the engineering efforts of a multidisciplinary project team responsible for offshore subsea installation, repair, and maintenance projects for both oil and gas and renewable infrastructure. Your role involves leading the team in technical preparations, delivering solutions for technical issues, and organizing the preparation of engineering documents and drawings. You will manage technical interfaces with all stakeholders, including clients. Key Responsibilities: You are scope aware and understand the commercial implications of changes to technical solutions and amendments to client requirements Leading the technical project team members and managing all engineering interfaces between engineers, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and leading Project Engineers and Discipline Engineers in delivering technical solutions for IRM projects. Acting as a deputy Project Manager when required. Monitoring the progress of engineering, ensuring adherence to schedules, and managing resources effectively. Guiding internal and external engineering specialists in performing detailed calculations. Supporting equipment selection and coordinating subcontractor and supplier selection with procurement. Staying informed about new developments in WROV, inspection, and diving technology. Attending client meetings and managing client expectations regarding engineering issues. Preparing and attending vessel mobilizations and demobilizations, aligning with offshore teams, and conducting project briefings. Collaborating with operational teams to ensure efficient project execution. Preparing project reviews, technical reports, and project close-out documentation. Assisting tender teams in developing and reviewing method statements and engineering deliverables for tenders. Supporting and coaching junior engineers in the department and project teams. Ensuring all work is performed to the highest quality and professionalism, in accordance with the company Document Management System and relevant standards and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore Energy, or similar. At least 5 years of proven work experience as a lead engineer in similar IRM projects. Experience in IRM projects and knowledge of ROV and/or diving operations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel abroad and work offshore occasionally. Proficiency in English (verbal and written). What We Offer: Attractive salary and benefits package. Core Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary project teams in offshore subsea installation, repair, and maintenance projects while managing technical interfaces and stakeholder expectations. Monitor engineering progress, ensure adherence to schedules, and support tender teams with technical deliverables and method statements.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Offshore Energy engineering. Candidates must have at least 5 years of proven experience as a lead engineer in IRM projects, including knowledge of ROV or diving operations.
