About the Role: We are seeking a technically proactive Account Management & Technical Procurement Specialist to join the DC Opportunities team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between external component manufacturers, key electronic distributors and our internal hardware and R&D engineering teams. Combining technical understanding and an interest in newly developing semiconductor and electronic components, you will ensure our engineering teams have seamless access and the ability to procure critical components, cutting-edge technologies, and electrical distribution equipment necessary to advance our DC grid hardware products and system-level projects. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for external partners, including major distributors and leading technology manufacturers, while closely tracking internal component demands, assisting in procurement for system commissioning, attending events, and assisting in project dev roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain strong relationships with key distributor accounts and component manufacturers Coordinate directly with internal hardware and power electronics engineers to track component requirements, availability and priorities. Lead technical procurement workflows, including sourcing components, requesting engineering samples, evaluating lead times and managing BOM lifecycle requirements. Ensure alignment between technical specifications, R&D schedules, and supply chain strategies to mitigate component obsolescence or delay risks. Qualifications: Education: HBO, BSc in electrical engineer, procurement management, or any relevant domain Strong technical background and interest in electrical/electronic components, new innovative semiconductor technologies or related technical domains Proven ability to communicate effectively and precisely with external manufacturers, distributors and internal R&D teams. Core Responsibilities

You will manage relationships with component manufacturers and distributors while coordinating with internal R&D teams to track component requirements. Additionally, you will lead technical procurement workflows, including sourcing, managing BOM lifecycles, and ensuring alignment between technical specifications and supply chain strategies.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a BSc or HBO degree in electrical engineering, procurement management, or a related field. You should possess a strong technical background in electronic components and excellent communication skills for managing external vendor relationships.
