What's the Role? We’re looking for a superstar Junior Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the bustling port area of Rotterdam. Picture yourself working in an old spice warehouse, surround-ed by the scents of India, with the stunning architecture of the Dutch Manhattan just outside your window. Sounds dreamy, right? What will you be doing? Are you ready to become the Junior Maintenance Specialist of our hotel? 🦸 ♂️🦸 ♀️ In this role, you help keep the hotel clean, safe, and running smoothly. Together with a small and friendly team, you make sure everything works as it should. You take on tasks independently 🛠️, learn on the job, and make sure guests don’t notice any technical issues. 🔧✨ What’s on your to-do list? 🔌 Helping with simple electrical repairs in guest rooms and public areas 🛋️ Repairing or checking furniture and equipment (hands-on work 💪) 🎨 Painting and small repair jobs 🔍 Spotting and fixing simple technical problems 📦 Keeping track of tools and materials 🚿 Small plumbing tasks, such as fixing a leaking tap or a blocked drain ⏰ Working flexible shifts, sometimes in the evening or on weekends (flex = your superpower 😉) Who are you? 🔧 You’re handy or have basic technical skills 🎓 No diploma required – motivation is what matters most 😎 Friendly, reliable, and a real team player ⚡ You like to take action and learn quickly 🎯 You work neatly and think along 🏡 You live in (or near) Rotterdam 🗣️ You speak Dutch and English Please send your cv (preferably with picture) and who knows we will meet soon!
