My job, Our future As a Business Controller, you will become a key member of the company’s management team and play an important role in further development and value creation. You will combine strategic insight with operational execution and have a real impact on financial management, decision-making processes, and the company’s long-term direction. The role is operational and hands-on, offering broad interaction across the organization and a wide variety of tasks. In addition, you will act as Legal Managing Director (Legal MD), contributing to strong structures, compliance, and holistic governance across the business. Responsibilities And Tasks Leadership and Coordination Lead and develop a team of two controllers, while working closely with accountants in the parent company. Act as Legal MD / Legal Managing Director, responsible for coordinating legal processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and supporting management in contracts, risk, and compliance matters. Financial Reporting and Control Overall responsibility for financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, ICOFR, J-SOX, Dutch legislation, and group requirements from Kverneland Group Finance. Responsible for ongoing reporting to the group and preparation of the annual report, directors’ report, transfer pricing documentation, impairment testing, and tax returns. Overall responsibility for comprehensive financial management, including profitability, investments, and value creation. Main point of contact for internal and external auditors. Ensure robust internal controls (J-SOX) and compliance with financial regulations (ICOFR), tax rules, and public reporting requirements. Prepare and follow up budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans, analyze deviations, and propose concrete improvement measures. Further develop the company’s management and reporting systems for effective monitoring and control of operations and profitability. Support and follow up on the company’s R&D and production activities, with particular focus on investment tracking and capacity utilization. Actively contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of financial processes. Ensure achievement of defined KPIs and initiate actions in case of deviations. Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling, and financial management. Experience in both operational and strategic leadership roles. Higher education in economics, finance, accounting, or auditing (relevant experience may compensate). Solid understanding of Dutch legislation and tax regulations. Experience with ICOFR/SOX. Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Good system understanding and strong IT competence. Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken. Core Responsibilities

The Business Controller will lead financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning while ensuring compliance with IFRS, J-SOX, and Dutch legislation. Additionally, the role acts as Legal Managing Director to oversee legal processes, governance, and internal controls across the organization.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling, and financial management with a higher education degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in Dutch and English, along with strong experience in SAP, ICOFR/SOX, and tax regulations, is required.
