THE POSITION As Sr. Manager Global Payroll & Mobility Tax, you are accountable for the global payroll process across Van Oord. You make sure salaries, wages and allowances are processed accurately and on time across multiple countries. You connect global payroll execution with local legislation, employment conditions, mobility tax and social security requirements. The role has a strong employee focus, especially for colleagues working across borders on international projects. You work closely with the Global Mobility and our Tax team to manage complex international payroll and tax positions. You report hierarchically and functionally to the Manager Global Finance Service Center. You bring payroll, mobility and tax together in one integrated approach. YOUR IMPACT You act as the Global Process Owner for Payroll and own the end-to-end payroll process. You lead Global Payroll Services and manage the performance of external payroll providers. You ensure that payroll systems are used effectively while meeting security and GDPR requirements. You provide clear advice and information to employees and stakeholders and turn global payroll data into useful insights. You also drive the onboarding and offboarding of payrolls on international payroll platforms. Your impact includes Ensuring reliable and tax compliant global payroll across Van Oord Coordinating cross border payroll, wage tax, social security and pension positions for international assignments Managing global payroll providers and ensuring effective use of payroll systems Using payroll data to identify risks, insights and opportunities for improvement Building data awareness and a continuous improvement mindset within the payroll teams You work closely with the central and local payroll teams, international payroll providers, Corporate Tax, HR teams and Finance. You also connect with regional management, project leads, regional finance managers, business controllers and project controllers. External stakeholders include tax and social security authorities. You bring the following experience and expertise A Master's degree in finance, economics or accounting 10+ years of progressive experience in international payroll roles within multinational project driven organisations Strong knowledge of global payroll, international mobility tax, social security and compliance Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting and control, risk management and data analysis Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders WE OFFER This role gives you the opportunity to shape how global payroll, mobility tax and employee experience come together at Van Oord. Requirements

The role requires a Master's degree in finance, economics, or accounting and over 10 years of progressive experience in international payroll. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of global payroll, mobility tax, social security, and compliance within multinational project-driven organizations.
