More about the role

The Assistant Account Manager (AAM) supports the management and growth of strategic customer accounts while independently managing a portfolio of smaller, non-key accounts. The role combines direct commercial responsibility with the development of the strategic, analytical, and relationship management capabilities required for a Key Account Manager role.

The AAM progressively takes ownership of customer-facing activities, business planning, and commercial execution. This includes independently driving growth and commercial performance within assigned accounts, while supporting strategic key accounts under the guidance of a KAM.

The AAM also plays an active role in store visits and in-store execution, working closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities and improve brand and promotional execution at store level. The expectation is that, through demonstrated performance and continuous development, the AAM will be ready to assume a Key Account Manager position within approximately two years.

•    Support the development and execution of strategic key customer account plans and growth initiatives.
•    Independently manage and develop a portfolio of smaller, non-key customer accounts, with responsibility for commercial performance and growth.
•    Build and maintain professional relationships with customer stakeholders.
•    Regularly visit stores to assess in-store execution, identify opportunities, and actively drive improvements in collaboration with the Marketing team.
•    Support preparation and coordination of promotions for key accounts, ensuring effective planning, execution, and follow-up,
•    Prepare customer analyses, business reviews, and commercial recommendations to support decision-making for key accounts.
•    Participate in customer negotiations, projects, and business reviews, taking on increasing responsibility over time.
•    Demonstrate continuous development of strategic selling, account management, and leadership capabilities in preparation for a Key Account Manager role.
