Do you want to help shape Rabobank’s strategy for digital assets in a rapidly evolving financial landscape? Help Rabobank understand how digital money, tokenised assets, wallets, digital identity and artificial intelligence could transform financial services and translate these developments into clear strategic choices. 

You & your role 

As a Digital Assets Strategy Consultant, you understand how digital assets could reshape financial products, market infrastructure and the role of financial institutions. You combine deep knowledge of the digital-assets ecosystem with strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex developments into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations. 

You play a central role in developing Rabobank’s strategic direction across the broader digital-assets landscape. This includes wallets, stablecoins, tokenised deposits, deposit tokens, wholesale central bank digital currencies, the digital euro, crypto-assets and tokenised financial products. You also explore how these developments intersect with digital identity and artificial intelligence. 

You analyse market, regulatory and technological developments, connect them to Rabobank’s broader strategic priorities and translate them into clear choices for senior decision-makers. Working closely with your Digital Assets and Stablecoin colleagues, you help transform domain expertise and long-term vision into compelling strategic narratives, scenarios, opportunity assessments and roadmaps. 

You will work across the full digital-assets spectrum, with focus areas evolving as technologies, regulation, customer needs and market structures develop. You are comfortable navigating uncertainty, challenging existing assumptions and developing a perspective on developments that may fundamentally change banking.

• Develop strategic perspectives and executive recommendations across digital money, tokenised assets, wallets, digital identity and related emerging technologies.
• Translate global market, regulatory and technological developments into strategic scenarios, opportunity assessments and clear implications for Rabobank. 
• Connect digital-assets developments to Rabobank’s broader strategic priorities and support senior decision-making and portfolio prioritisation.

• Develop compelling strategic narratives, scenarios and recommendations that translate complex digital-assets developments into clear choices for senior stakeholders. 
• Analyse global developments across stablecoins, tokenised deposits, central bank digital currencies, crypto-assets, tokenised financial products, wallets, identity and artificial intelligence. 
• Identify and assess strategic opportunities, develop early-stage business cases and support the prioritisation of Rabobank’s digital-assets portfolio. 

You will work within a strategic innovation domain focused on understanding and responding to the long-term impact of digital assets on financial services. You collaborate closely with the Digital Assets and Stablecoin Lead, senior stakeholders, strategy teams, innovation teams and subject-matter experts across Rabobank.

You & your talent 

• University degree level of working and thinking. 
• 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, innovation strategy or a comparable strategic role. 
• Proven expertise across the digital-assets landscape, including stablecoins, tokenised deposits, deposit tokens, central bank digital currencies, crypto-assets or tokenised financial products. 
• A clear understanding of how wallets, digital identity and artificial intelligence could intersect with digital assets and financial services. 
• Strong understanding of global regulatory, market and technological developments affecting digital assets. 
• Proven experience translating complex developments and domain expertise into compelling strategic narratives, scenarios and executive recommendations. 
• Experience conducting market, competitor and ecosystem analyses and translating the results into strategic implications. 
• Experience developing opportunity assessments, early-stage business cases and strategic roadmaps. 
• Strong stakeholder influencing skills, including the ability to engage, challenge and advise senior management. 
• Ability to connect emerging technologies and market developments to broader corporate and financial-services strategies. 
• Excellent analytical, communication and storytelling capabilities. 
• Intellectual curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to develop clear perspectives in an uncertain and rapidly evolving environment. 
• Experience within a leading strategy consultancy, corporate strategy team, digital-assets organisation or a specialised digital-assets advisory practice is considered a strong advantage.
