Zorg dat bedrijfskritische financiële platformen altijd blijven presteren
Binnen banking en asset management moeten applicaties voor Finance, Credit Risk, Payments en Regulatory Reporting continu beschikbaar, veilig en controleerbaar zijn. Een storing kan direct gevolgen hebben voor transacties, risicoberekeningen, financiële rapportages en klanten.
Als Azure SRE / DevOps Engineer bij Varrlyn bouw en beheer je betrouwbare platformen voor financiële instellingen. Je automatiseert deployments, verbetert monitoring en helpt applicaties veilig naar moderne cloudomgevingen te migreren.
Daarbij kijk je verder dan infrastructuur alleen. Je begrijpt dat jouw technologie essentiële financiële en risicoprocessen ondersteunt die weinig ruimte laten voor uitval of fouten.
Wat ga je zoal doen?
- Azure-platformen en bedrijfskritische financiële applicaties beheren en verbeteren
- Platformen ondersteunen voor Finance, Credit Risk, Payments en Regulatory Reporting
- CI/CD-pipelines ontwerpen, automatiseren en onderhouden
- Infrastructure as Code implementeren en verder professionaliseren
- Monitoring, logging, alerting en observability inrichten
- Beschikbaarheid, performance en schaalbaarheid bewaken
- Cloudmigraties en applicatie-implementaties ondersteunen
- Incidenten analyseren en structurele verbeteringen doorvoeren
- Security-, compliance- en auditvereisten vertalen naar technische maatregelen
- Samenwerken met developers, application support, security, Finance en Risk
- Operationele processen automatiseren en handmatige werkzaamheden verminderen
- Meewerken aan platformen voor trading, treasury, Credit Risk, Payments of asset management
Functie-eisen
Dit breng je mee
- Minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring als DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer of Application Engineer
- Ruime ervaring met Microsoft Azure
- Kennis van CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code en configuratiebeheer
- Ervaring met bijvoorbeeld Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, GitLab of GitHub Actions
- Scriptingkennis in bijvoorbeeld Python, Bash of PowerShell
- Ervaring met monitoring- en observability-oplossingen
- Kennis van security, identity management en productieomgevingen met hoge beschikbaarheid
- Goede beheersing van het Engels; Nederlands is een pre
- Je woont in Nederland of elders in Europa en bent bereid om voor opdrachten in Nederland te werken
Ervaring binnen een bank, vermogensbeheerder of andere gereguleerde omgeving is een sterke pre. Ervaring met platformen voor Finance, Credit Risk of Regulatory Reporting is zeer welkom. Kennis van Murex, SWIFT, Payments, SRE-principes, application support of Azure binnen financial services geeft je een duidelijke voorsprong

Core Responsibilities
You will manage and improve Azure-based platforms for critical financial applications, including Finance, Credit Risk, and Payments. This involves automating deployments, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring high availability and security through robust monitoring and observability.
Requirements
The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE engineer with strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
