Nieuwe regelgeving, veranderende betaalstromen, strengere kredietrisicokaders en verouderde systemen zorgen voor omvangrijke transformaties binnen banken en vermogensbeheerders. Succesvolle verandering begint met iemand die het volledige proces begrijpt en business en IT met elkaar weet te verbinden.
Als Senior Business Analyst bij Varrlyn werk je aan verandertrajecten binnen Finance, Credit Risk, Payments, Treasury en Regulatory Reporting. Je maakt complexe vraagstukken inzichtelijk en vertaalt ze naar oplossingen die technisch haalbaar, controleerbaar en bedrijfsmatig waardevol zijn.
Wat ga je zoal doen?
- Financiële processen, kredietrisicoprocessen, systemen en informatiestromen analyseren
- Requirements ophalen, structureren en vertalen naar functionele oplossingen
- De impact van nieuwe regelgeving en procesveranderingen bepalen
- Finance- en Credit Risk-behoeften vertalen naar data-, proces- en systeemvereisten
- Workshops en interviews met business-, risk-, finance- en IT-stakeholders begeleiden
- User stories, procesmodellen en functionele specificaties opstellen
- Samenwerken met product owners, developers, data-engineers, testers en architecten
- Ondersteunen van systeemimplementaties, migraties en procesverbeteringen
- Bijdragen aan projecten rond Credit Risk, Finance, Payments, SWIFT of Regulatory Reporting
- Bewaken dat oplossingen aansluiten op het volledige end-to-endproces
- Junior analisten begeleiden en kennis delen binnen het projectteam
Functie-eisen
Dit breng je mee
- Minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring als Business Analyst, Business Consultant of vergelijkbare professional
- Ervaring met complexe IT-implementaties of financiële verandertrajecten
- Het vermogen om gemakkelijk te schakelen tussen business, finance, risk, data en technologie
- Ervaring met requirementsanalyse, procesmodellering en stakeholdermanagement
- Sterke analytische en communicatieve vaardigheden
- Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding, bij voorkeur in Finance, Economie, Econometrie, Bedrijfskunde of IT
- Uitstekende beheersing van het Engels; Nederlands is een pre
- Je woont in Nederland of elders in Europa en bent bereid om voor opdrachten in Nederland te werken
Ervaring binnen banking, asset management of een andere financiële instelling is een sterke pre. Kennis van Credit Risk, Finance, IFRS 9, kredietverlening, payments, SWIFT, treasury, Murex, regulatory reporting of financiële producten maakt je profiel extra interessant.

Requirements
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or consulting within the financial sector. A degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, or IT is required, along with excellent English communication skills.
