Full-time Location: Lake Success, NY We are seeking a Website Designer / Developer to join our team! Working with our existing design & development team, this role will be focused on supporting existing client websites and marketing assets as well as working on new projects. Working with fellow designers and developers, your main focus will be on creating captivating, innovative & mobile-friendly websites and designing marketing campaigns including email & ads. You will mainly be involved in designing and coding themes for WordPress-based websites that utilize both custom themes and themes built with tools such as Elementor. This role will combine creativity and technical skills, therefore a strong eye for design detail and the ability to bring those concepts to fruition is key. Design Expertise Website design, UI/UX Ensuring brand consistency for each of our clients Creating marketing ads across all digital platforms and sizes Ability to collaborate with the marketing team regarding messaging and calls-to-action Experience working with Canva for animated assets Creation of social media assets and experience with subtleties across channels Front-End Development Implementing designs using CSS, HTML and jQuery Implementing designs using Elementor in WordPress Highly Proficient in responsive HTML & CSS development Proficient in WordPress theme development Proficient in responsive email development Working knowledge of frameworks such as Bootstrap & Foundation Working knowledge of Flexbox Experience with jQuery / JavaScript Experience working directly in PHP Applications Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Skills Proficient in Technical SEO Proficient in cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility Working knowledge of mobile-first theory Working knowledge of SEO/SEM fundamentals Working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines Working knowledge of microdata/schema Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify & Big Commerce Experience working with social media platforms Familiarity with HubSpot, Sharp Spring, Constant Contact a plus Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent At least 3-5 years in an equivalent role Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits package included.
