Job Summary We are looking for a structured, reliable, and people-oriented HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day HR operations at Noovy. This is a hands-on role covering HR administration, employee support, onboarding coordination, payroll coordination, HR compliance, policies, and employee engagement. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters and ensure that HR processes are handled accurately, consistently, and on time. Key Responsibilities HR Administration & Compliance Manage day-to-day HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle. Prepare and maintain employment contracts, amendments, extensions, and termination documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation. Monitor contract dates, probation periods, and other important HR deadlines. Ensure HR processes comply with Dutch employment law and applicable regulations. Coordinate with external HR and legal partners when specialist advice is required. Maintain and update HR policies and employee documentation. Ensure HR files and employee information are handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements. Employee Support & Employee Relations Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding day-to-day HR questions and requests. Support employees and managers with questions relating to contracts, leave, absence, policies, benefits, and other HR matters. Support managers in handling employee-related situations in a fair, consistent, and professional manner. Assist with performance-related and attendance-related matters when required. Handle sensitive employee information and situations with discretion and confidentiality. Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment. Payroll & Benefits Administration Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the external payroll provider. Ensure salary changes, new starters, leavers, absences, leave, and other payroll-related information are submitted accurately and on time. Act as the main HR contact for payroll-related questions. Support employees with basic questions regarding payslips, benefits, and payroll administration. Coordinate employee benefits and other HR-related administrative processes. Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinate the HR and administrative aspects of employee onboarding. Ensure new employees receive the required contracts, policies, information, and documentation. Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure employees are properly set up before their start date. Manage the administrative side of employee offboarding, including documentation, final payroll inputs, and company property. Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are consistent and well documented. Performance & Employee Development Support the implementation of the company’s performance review process. Coordinate performance review cycles and ensure required documentation is completed on time. Support managers with the administrative and HR aspects of performance management. Coordinate training and development activities based on identified employee and business needs. Maintain records of employee development and training activities. Employee Engagement & HR Processes Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR activities. Coordinate employee surveys and assist with analysing feedback. Follow up on agreed HR action points and employee feedback. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience. Maintain clear and accessible HR documentation, guidelines, and processes. HR Reporting & Governance Maintain accurate HR data and prepare regular HR reports for management. Track key HR metrics such as headcount, absence, turnover, contracts, and employee movements. Ensure HR deadlines and recurring processes are consistently monitored and completed. Proactively flag HR risks, compliance issues, or upcoming deadlines to management. Candidate Profile Must-Have 3+ years of hands-on HR generalist or HR operations experience. Experience across HR administration, employee support, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle processes. Good working knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR compliance. Strong experience managing contracts, employee documentation, and HR records. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable attitude. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with discretion. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day HR activities. Nice to Have Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or fast-growing company. Experience working with an HRIS or payroll system. Experience working with an external payroll provider. Hospitality industry experience. Experience improving or documenting HR processes. Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on HR experience and a strong working knowledge of Dutch employment law. Proficiency in managing HR records, payroll coordination, and maintaining confidentiality is essential for this role.
