International School Delft Primary is looking for a Cover Subject Teacher Dutch. 🌍 About International School Delft International School Delft Primary is a young and dynamic international school situated in the heart of the TU Delft campus. Our school has grown to approximately 220 children, representing a wide range of nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. We are an IB World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), and are part of the wider International School Delft community, which provides international education from Primary through to the MYP and Diploma Programme. Our mission is simple and ambitious: Inspiring learning for a sustainable future. 👩‍🏫 About the role As our Cover Subject Teacher Dutch, you will teach Dutch to children in the middle years of the PYP (approximately 6–9 years old) and contribute to additional after-school Dutch integration classes for children in the middle and upper years. Our students come from many different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We are therefore looking for someone who can make Dutch language learning engaging, accessible and meaningful for children learning Dutch in an international setting. Experience with NT2 education is particularly welcomed. ✨ Who are we looking for? We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who: • is fluent in Dutch and English • holds a teaching qualification recognised, or eligible for recognition, by the Dutch authorities • can differentiate effectively for diverse learners • enjoys working collaboratively within an international team • has strong intercultural communication skills • is adaptable, positive and open to innovation • is committed to continuous professional development • has experience with, or an interest in developing within, the IB Primary Years Programme and inquiry-based learning Previous experience in an international school, NT2 education or IB curriculum development is an advantage. 💡 What do we offer? Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates must hold a teaching qualification recognized by Dutch authorities and be fluent in both Dutch and English. Experience with NT2 education and the IB curriculum is considered an advantage.
