Job Description

EXPANDING OUR STRATEGIC ADVISORY BOARD WITH TIER-1 COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE (CRE) EXECUTIVES As autonomous robotics move from the horizon to the lobby and beyond, navigating this transition introduces a complex new puzzle for commercial real estate. Landlords are facing unmanaged API sprawl, lobby gridlock, and unquantified casualty liability. The fundamental questions across the sector are identical: what is actually required, where can these fleets safely navigate, and how do we maintain absolute control? Protocol Infrastructure was founded to answer these questions. As a strictly vendor-neutral, independent engineering body, we do not sell robots. We establish the blueprint for robots in CRE. We act as the Air Traffic Control (ATC) layer for physical building chokepoints. To help portfolios get started, we execute a frictionless, zero-touch technical audit that delivers a complete certification suite, an exportable 1-Page RFP Specification, and assigns the official Protocol Asset Index™ (PAI™) benchmark. As we deploy our first cohort of Charter Assets across New York, London, and Amsterdam, we are expanding our Strategic Advisory Board. We are seeking deeply experienced CRE executives to help guide our deployment architecture and ensure our standard aligns with institutional mandates. THE PROFILE: Current or former Managing Directors, Heads of Property Management, or Operations Directors exclusively at Tier-1 OpCos and Sovereign Owner-Operators (specifically CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Savills, Brookfield Properties, Tishman Speyer, British Land, or Canary Wharf Group). You possess deep, direct-dial relationships with enterprise real estate decision-makers (specifically across Class A high-rises and flagship commercial portfolios) and understand how to navigate CapEx/OpEx budgeting cycles. A strategic desire to shape the integration of physical AI and advise on the risk, compliance, and liability of autonomous fleets in the built environment. We are building the definitive access standard for global CRE. If you have the institutional gravity to help govern this transition, send a direct message to James Fresco, Founder & CEO.

Core Responsibilities

Advise on deployment architecture for autonomous robotics within commercial real estate portfolios. Ensure company standards align with institutional mandates and global property management requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must be current or former senior executives at Tier-1 commercial real estate firms or sovereign owner-operators. Deep experience in navigating complex budgeting cycles and established relationships with enterprise real estate decision-makers is required.

About Protocol Infrastructure™

Industry: Real Estate

Company size: 11-50 employees

Protocol Infrastructure™ is the blueprint for robots in commercial real estate (CRE). Enterprise efficiency and demographic labor shortages are driving autonomous robot fleets into shared commercial environments. Each proprietary vendor bridge transfers a measure of access control away from the owner, and no two bridges are designed to interoperate. For a building to retain operability and control, every access request must route through one central landlord standard. Protocol delivers that standard: the universal access governance landlords need to securely evaluate, authorize, and orchestrate robot fleets. The platform maps physical constraints and normalizes digital endpoints, so autonomy becomes a repeatable deployment rather than a bespoke project per building. Product: - Protocol Audit™ (diagnostic) is independent site intelligence for autonomous building readiness. It establishes what a building supports today, after remediation, and at what cost, and produces the Protocol Asset Index™ (PAI™), a permanent, verifiable readiness score that follows the asset through leasing, financing, and disposition. - Protocol OS™ (orchestration) governs machine access across elevators, doors, turnstiles, and adjacent systems. Movement rights are scoped, logged, revocable, tamper-evident, and resolved at sub-50ms latency. Life-safety systems retain absolute priority. - Protocol Marketplace™ (exchange) is where owners, operators, and robotics vendors transact against audited buildings. - Protocol SDK™ gives developers one integration surface across an entire portfolio. Areas of focus: - Business: enterprise SaaS, infrastructure strategy, go-to-market, proptech, CRE. - Architecture: access orchestration, building data, API and SDK design, BACnet/IP, RS-485, zero-trust networks, SIL-3 relays. - Compliance: EN 81-73 and ASME A17.1 (elevator overrides), ISO CG 40 47, CE, UL. - Ecosystem: KONE, Otis, Schindler, TKE, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls.
