As an Account Technology Strategist for the Public Sector – Central Government team, you will shape the technology direction of some of the Netherlands’ most strategic government organizations. You will work closely with senior technology leaders across central government to translate complex challenges into clear technology roadmaps and long-term strategies, ensuring they can securely adopt cloud, artificial intelligence, and modern security capabilities while meeting regulatory and sovereignty expectations. In this role, you connect customers directly with the best of Microsoft, bringing together specialists, engineering, and partners to design solutions that are both innovative and trusted. You will act as a strategic technology leader for your accounts, aligning Microsoft’s platforms and services to government priorities such as resiliency, security, data protection, and citizen services. You will orchestrate virtual teams, drive technology strategy formulation, and guide customers through digital transformation journeys that have national-level impact. Your ability to build trusted relationships, simplify complex technical landscapes, and drive clear decisions will be critical to the success of both your customers and the broader Microsoft account team. Responsibilities Lead mid- and long-term technology strategy and roadmap development for highly strategic Dutch central government accounts, aligning Microsoft cloud and platform capabilities to customers’ business and policy objectives. Orchestrate internal teams and local partners across functions and geographies to ensure the right technical expertise and resources are engaged to support demand generation, solution design, and delivery. Act as a trusted technology mentor for senior customer stakeholders, providing thought leadership on security, digital sovereignty, artificial intelligence, and cloud adoption while positioning Microsoft’s differentiated value. Drive account planning best practices by owning the technical components of the account plan, coordinating forecasting and pipeline health, and ensuring execution against agreed technology and consumption goals. Use deep customer and industry insights to inform strategy, identify risks and opportunities, and challenge customers to consider new approaches that accelerate digital transformation and business outcomes. Qualifications Required / Minimum Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field and significant experience in strategic technology consulting, enterprise architecture, technical sales or technology advisory, or equivalent experience. Experience advising large or complex Public Sector customers on technology strategy and digital transformation. Fluent Dutch, written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps that connect customer business priorities with cloud, AI, data and security solutions. Strong experience engaging CIO, CTO and other senior technology stakeholders as a trusted strategic adviser. Deep understanding of Public Sector or Central Government environments and their technology priorities and challenges. Experience orchestrating cross-functional technical teams and partners to deliver complex customer outcomes. Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 86,300.00 - € 170,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field and possess significant experience in strategic technology consulting or enterprise architecture. Proficiency in Dutch is required, along with a deep understanding of public sector technology priorities.
