Network Support Engineer 📍 Location: Boxmeer, Netherlands 🏢 Work Type: On-site 🚗 Travel: Required across Boxmeer, De Bilt, Stevensbeek, Gennep, Oss & Beugen 💼 Experience: 4+ years 🗣️ Languages: Dutch & English – Mandatory Freelance Contract 1 year Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Network Support Engineer with EUC knowledge to provide hands-on network infrastructure support across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Support Enterprise & Shop Floor Network environments. Troubleshoot/support Cisco, Wi-Fi, Layer 2 & Layer 3 networks. Perform UTP and Fiber (SM/MM) cabling, patching and labeling. Rack & stack server/network equipment in SER/LCR rooms. Replace, move and reorganize network equipment and racks. Support global teams during Cisco IOS updates and network equipment rollouts. Maintain site documentation and provide console/site access support. Note: Network changes/configuration will be handled by the global network team; this role has read-only network access. Requirements 4+ years of Network/IT Support experience. Hands-on Cisco/network infrastructure experience. Knowledge of UTP/Fiber cabling and network components. Valid driving license + own car – Mandatory. Dutch & English – Mandatory. CCNA/CCNP is a plus.

Core Responsibilities

Provide hands-on network infrastructure support, including troubleshooting Cisco environments and performing physical cabling and equipment installation. Maintain site documentation and assist global teams with network rollouts and equipment updates.

Requirements

Requires 4+ years of network or IT support experience with hands-on knowledge of Cisco infrastructure and cabling. Candidates must possess a valid driving license, own a car, and be fluent in both Dutch and English.
