Within our Product Team, we develop high-quality products that combine engineering, design, and manufacturability, from concept through production. We are looking for a Junior Product Development Engineer who wants to grow in a hands-on product development role within an international environment. About The Role - Support the development of new products and components from concept to industrialisation Create and maintain 3D CAD models and production drawings Assist with technical calculations, testing, and product validation Support production processes and production ramp-ups Drive improvements in functionality, quality, and manufacturability Work closely with an international team of engineers, including colleagues in Germany and other Hunter Douglas companies Collaborate with the documentation team to deliver accurate drawings for assembly and installation manuals Cooperate with product management, production, purchasing, and marketing teams About You - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design 0–3 years of experience (graduates welcome) Interest in product development and manufacturing Experience with 3D CAD (Creo is a plus) Proactive mindset, eye for detail, and strong team spirit Good command of English; Dutch and/or German is a plus Why Hunter Douglas? Core Responsibilities

Support the development of new products and components from concept to industrialization, including creating 3D CAD models and production drawings. Collaborate with international teams to improve functionality, quality, and manufacturability of window covering solutions.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design with 0-3 years of experience. Candidates should be proficient in 3D CAD and possess a proactive mindset with a strong command of English.
