Overview The Business Change Programme Manager will lead the successful planning, execution, and adoption of strategic change initiatives across Sales, Operations, and Functional teams within a leading warehousing and logistics business operating across Continental Europe. The role is responsible for delivering business transformation programmes that improve operational performance, customer experience, commercial effectiveness, and organisational capability. Working closely with senior leaders and frontline teams, the Business Change Programme Manager will ensure that change is effectively implemented, embedded, and sustained while maintaining business performance and customer service levels. This position requires an experienced programme leader who combines structured project delivery expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement and people leadership skills. Key responsibilities Lead complex business change programmes from initiation through implementation and benefits realisation. Develop programme plans, governance structures, risk management frameworks, and delivery roadmaps. Ensure successful delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives across Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and other business functions. Manage programme budgets, timelines, resources, dependencies, and critical milestones. Drive programme governance activities, including steering committees and executive reporting. Identify and mitigate programme risks, issues, and organisational barriers to success. Develop and execute change management strategies that support successful adoption of new processes, systems, operating models, and ways of working. Assess organisational change readiness and change absorption capacity across countries, functions, and sites. Build stakeholder engagement plans to ensure buy-in from leadership teams, managers, and frontline employees. Partner with local country and site teams to ensure effective implementation and sustainment of change. Track adoption metrics, employee engagement measures, and business benefits. Support the development and execution of the Continental Europe transformation agenda. Drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives. Promote best practices in programme management, project governance, and change leadership. Contribute to the development of transformation capabilities across the business. Develop strong working relationships with senior executives, operational leaders, commercial teams, and functional stakeholders. Facilitate alignment across multiple countries and business units. Influence decision-making through data-led insights, clear communication, and effective leadership. Provide regular programme updates to executive leadership and governance forums Experience and Qualifications Required Strong programme management expertise with a recognised qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PMP, or equivalent. Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG Change Management, or equivalent). Lean Six Sigma qualification. Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation and change programmes. Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, transport, or industrial operations environments. Demonstrated success delivering programmes across multiple business functions and geographies. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels, from frontline employees to executive leadership. Strong people leadership and team development capabilities. Experience managing complex programme risks, dependencies, and organisational change impacts. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, international environment. Experience working across multiple European countries and cultures. Knowledge of warehouse operations, transport networks, automation, and supply chain systems. Requirements
Requires extensive experience leading large-scale transformations in logistics or industrial environments with certifications in PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, and Change Management. Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to operate within a complex, international matrixed organization.
