Our office in Alkmaar is where our teams build digital products that reach millions of people every day. A well-organized workplace is essential to that. That's why we're looking for a facilities assistant who ensures everything runs smoothly, from a well-prepared start to the day to a properly catered lunch. What You'll Do As our facilities assistant, you make sure our Alkmaar office starts strong every day. You start at 8:00 AM and get everything ready before the team arrives, laying the foundation for a smooth workday. Most of the role is about handling that daily start and supporting our chef. You help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch. The rest of your time goes to facilities work: walking through the building and keeping kitchens, meeting rooms, and common areas in order. Daily start (8:00 AM) Walk through kitchens, meeting rooms, and common areas Make sure everything is clean, tidy, and operational Map out the day's schedule Communicate that schedule to the colleagues involved Supporting the chef and hospitality Assist our Chef in preparing breakfast and lunch Set up lunch and lunch meetings Keep kitchens and common areas clean and presentable Support internal events Facilities responsibilities Flag issues or defects in the building Handle small repairs yourself or arrange them with suppliers Manage inventory and order supplies on time Regularly pick up items from suppliers (a driver's license is a must) Freedom, responsibility, trust, and a real sense of camaraderie. Requirements
