As a Failure Analysis Lead, you combine technical expertise with people leadership in a cutting-edge production environment. You guide a team of engineers, support hiring and talent development, and ensure high standards in defect analysis. Additionally, you help prepare new products for service by evaluating diagnostic and testing capabilities. About The Role Are you ready to combine your technical expertise with leadership? As a Failure Analysis Lead at Prodrive Technologies, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 10–15 Failure Analysis Engineers (FAEs) who perform technical defect analysis on production failures of complex high-tech products. Key Responsibilities: You will work in a production environment where advanced power modules, power cabinets and high end computing cabinets are built. As the technical leader of the team, you set the technical direction and standards, coach and challenge FAEs, and create an environment where they can continuously develop their expertise. You will also play an important role in the hiring of new FAEs and in providing technical input on FAE performance and development to the Team Leaders. During the hiring process, you assess and challenge the technical knowledge, capabilities, and potential of candidates. For existing FAEs, you provide technical input to support decisions on contract extensions, promotions, and career progression. For new products, you contribute to service readiness by reviewing available diagnostics, test capabilities, tools, and accessories. When gaps are identified, you communicate these to the relevant product teams. What You Bring Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering 7+ years of relevant technical experience Strong leadership experience in a technical environment Deep knowledge of power electronics Experience with complex troubleshooting and Root Cause/ Failure Analysis Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with strong ownership Strong decision-making skills Proficiency in English About Prodrive Technologies We are committed to developing technologies that make an impact. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant technical experience. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of power electronics, and expertise in complex troubleshooting.
