Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring websites and applications operate at peak performance, speed, and stability. This role involves testing, analyzing, and improving digital systems to provide seamless user experiences across a diverse IT landscape. Responsibilities: Design, execute, and analyze performance tests, including load, stress, and endurance testing Develop and maintain performance test scripts and strategies Interpret test results to identify causes of performance issues Collaborate with development and technical teams to implement improvements Evaluate architecture and design decisions from a performance perspective Introduce new tools, techniques, and best practices for performance enhancement Provide expert advice and support on performance-related topics across multiple teams Lead knowledge sharing and act as a point of contact for performance issues within the organization Help teams make informed decisions to optimize system speed, reliability, and scalability Requirements: HBO or WO degree in IT or a related field At least 6 years of experience in performance engineering or a similar role Strong understanding of performance testing tools, programming languages, and monitoring techniques Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues in large systems Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken Ability to work independently and as part of a team, leading projects and collaborating effectively Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments Willingness to learn new methods, tools, and technologies Other Information: If you are interested and want to apply, please submit your application via the apply button below and contact me.
