Eve Curls is a fast-growing Dutch DTC hair care brand serving customers across the EU, US, and UK. Our direct-to-consumer e-commerce business is currently the biggest part of what we do, alongside a growing marketplace presence. We're launching into retail in November and taking that seriously as a major growth channel going forward. We're scaling from mid-7-figures last year to $20M+ this year, with a clear path into 9 figures next year. We're a fully remote company with team members from all over the world, operating on European timezones — aside from our R&D lab, where our chemists and a lab assistant work on-site. We're hiring a COO to take full ownership of the operational backbone of the business — finance, supply chain, R&D, and customer service. You'll manage our department heads directly and hold them accountable to targets. Founders stay focused on revenue, growth, and capital. You own everything that has to keep working while that happens. We have department structures in place, but they're not finished and not perfect. At our growth rate, structure breaks constantly — what works at $20M won't hold at $50M. This is a builder role: you'll be building and rebuilding processes continuously, not maintaining what already exists. This is a full-ownership role, not a 9-to-5. If something breaks — a stockout, a cash issue, a supplier falling through — it gets fixed, whatever time it is. We're not looking for someone who clocks out when a problem is half-solved. Responsibilities Own day-to-day operations across finance, supply chain, R&D, and customer service Manage department heads directly — set targets, run 1:1s, hold them accountable Continuously identify where current structure is breaking or about to break, and fix it before it costs us Build and evolve the operating cadence: weekly leadership sync, monthly numbers review, quarterly planning Push department heads to build stronger processes within their own functions, not just hit numbers Own resolution when something breaks — stockouts, cash issues, quality problems, service backlogs — founders hear about it after it's handled Sign off on hiring within your departments Bring founder-level decisions to founders, not founder-level problems What we're looking for 5+ years in senior operations leadership — COO, GM, or Head of Ops E-commerce, DTC, or CPG background Proven experience managing multiple departments through department heads, not doing the work yourself Real experience scaling a business through a fast-growth stage — you've seen structure break before and know how to rebuild it under pressure A real builder: comfortable with imperfect systems, not looking for a finished org to manage Comfortable with full ownership and minimal oversight Able to work on European timezones What you'll get $120,000+ base salary Performance-based bonus incentives Fully remote role Full ownership of the operating side of a 9-figure-trajectory brand Direct line to founders Real impact — you're running and rebuilding the company day to day, not managing a finished function

Core Responsibilities

The COO will own the operational backbone of the business, including finance, supply chain, R&D, and customer service. They are responsible for managing department heads, setting targets, and continuously rebuilding processes to support rapid company growth.

Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of senior operations leadership experience within the e-commerce, DTC, or CPG sectors. Proven experience in scaling businesses and managing multiple departments through direct reports is essential.
