We're looking for a hands-on senior engineer to join our Workspaces or Data Room team. You'll work across .NET, Angular, and Azure, using AI to support your engineering work and building AI capabilities into our products. You'll help shape the solution, write the code, and stay involved through release and production operations.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that combines different perspectives to build the best possible product. Together with a team lead, medior developers, QA engineers and product designers, you’ll collaborate closely to solve complex challenges, refine ideas, and deliver valuable solutions. Everyone contributes to shaping the product, and you’ll have the opportunity to influence both technical decisions and overall user experience.
What you will own
Delivery from start to finish. Clarify requirements with your team, agree what success looks like, and take features through implementation, testing, release, and production verification. Close the follow-up work too.
A workable plan for complex problems. Break projects and operational changes into manageable steps. Make dependencies and risks visible, identify a useful first release, and adjust the plan as you learn. Keep an overview of the whole process.
Clear, proactive communication. Keep colleagues and stakeholders informed without waiting to be asked. Raise risks early, explain the trade-offs, and bring a recommendation. Present your work in team discussions and product demos.
Full-stack engineering. Build and maintain backend services, frontend experiences, and infrastructure as code. Contribute to architecture, automated testing, performance, and safe delivery.
Practical AI. Use coding assistants and agents thoughtfully, reviewing and testing their output. Build AI-enabled features and evaluate their usefulness, accuracy, security, cost, and latency.
Reliable, secure operation. Help respond to incidents, investigate root causes, assess risks, and complete improvements that prevent repeat problems. Protect customer data throughout the system.
A stronger team. Be a technical leader, share knowledge, review code, mentor colleagues, and welcome constructive challenges.

What you will bring to the table
Your way of working
A track record of finishing substantial work. You can explain what you personally delivered, how you handled setbacks, and how you knew the result was working in production.
The ability to create structure when requirements are incomplete, coordinate across teams, and keep progress moving without repeated chasing.
Excellent spoken and written English (minimum C1 level). You can lead a technical discussion, write a precise update, and explain a complex issue to a non-technical colleague. Dutch is a strong plus.
Your engineering foundation
C# / .NET: 6+ years of professional C# development, with recent hands-on experience building and maintaining production services and APIs.
Angular / TypeScript: Practical production experience and the ability to independently deliver the frontend side of a feature, not only its backend.
Azure and delivery: Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting. AI-200 (or AZ-204) certification is a plus.
Messaging: Experience with Azure Service Bus or equivalent, including retries, duplicate delivery, and failure recovery.
Quality and security: Automated testing, pragmatic architecture, safe releases, and a security-first approach. You understand tenant-scoped authorization, least privilege, secrets management, and keeping sensitive information out of logs.
Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
AI is part of the basics
You use AI coding tools in your development workflow and can show how you check their output, catch mistakes, and protect confidential code and data through approved tooling.
You've implemented AI features or working prototypes and can explain your contribution and how you evaluated the results.
You understand large language models (LLMs), embeddings, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), including their limitations and when they are useful.
You understand Model Context Protocol (MCP) and how it connects AI applications to tools and data with authenticated, least-privilege access.
You account for hallucinations and prompt injection, enforce tenant authorization before retrieval or tool execution, and keep sensitive prompts, document contents, and personal data out of logs. You don't rely on prompts to enforce access control.
We're looking for practical application engineering and sound judgment, not a model-training specialist.

Salary: €6.000 – €7.500 depending on skills and experience
32-40 hours per week with flexible working hours (hybrid work, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, based on 40 hours per week

There will be time for your questions, too. It will be a two-way conversation, to make sure you van also determine if we are a match for you.
A case, which is to be made at home: You’ll work on a case that mirrors a real-world challenge. We’re interested not just in the end result, but also in how you think, prioritize, and solve problems.
Onsite case presentation (60 minutes): You’ll present your case to the team and talk us through your reasoning, choices, and conclusion. It’s a chance for us to learn more about how you work and for you to get a feel for how we collaborate.
