Tosca Test Automation Engineer
Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands (hybrid, 3 days per week)
Duration of contract: 6 Months to start with, chances of extensions
Any language preference: Very good English is fine, however Dutch is preferred
Role Summary
Responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and enhancing the Tosca-based test automation framework by improving regression coverage, implementing automation for new business functionalities and APIs, establishing an independent testing environment, and driving long-term automation governance and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, rationalize, and optimize existing Tosca regression test suites by eliminating redundant and duplicate test cases while maintaining required business coverage.
- Analyze existing modules, improve test traceability, identify coverage gaps, and recommend enhancements to strengthen overall test effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and integrate automated test scripts for new business functionalities into the regression testing framework.
- Establish and validate an independent FactorSet test environment within CERT, eliminating dependencies on DEV modules.
- Develop and implement API test automation scenarios for standard quote creation and integrate them into the regression suite.
- Enhance the stability, reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the Tosca automation framework to support consistent release validation.
- Define and implement test automation governance processes, maintenance procedures, quality controls, and ownership models.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide onboarding support to ensure successful adoption of automation best practices and sustainable operations.
- Collaborate with business, QA, and development teams to drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency and quality.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with Tricentis Tosca Test Automation.
- Expertise in test case design, regression optimization, and test coverage analysis.
- Experience with API test automation and integration of API scripts into automated regression suites.
- Knowledge of test environment setup, migration, and dependency management.
- Experience in automation framework maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
The role involves optimizing and maintaining the Tosca-based test automation framework to improve regression coverage and business functionality testing. You will also be responsible for establishing independent test environments and implementing automation governance processes.
Requirements
Candidates must have strong experience with Tricentis Tosca and expertise in API test automation and regression suite integration. Proficiency in test environment management and strong analytical and communication skills are also required.
