What we’re looking for We are looking for a problem solver with strong soft skills and hands-on experience with building machine learning models and working with structured and unstructured data. Suitable candidates should be very proficient in at least one programming language (preferably Python) and have DevOps skills – familiarity with Git/virtual machines in the cloud etc. The following would be advantageous. The ability to work through complex business problems and effectively communicate data-driven insights and recommendations A solid understanding of, and ability to explain, the mathematics and statistics behind machine learning algorithms Applicant requirements Practical experience working in the machine learning field and preferably a background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other scientific field(s) Work visa for the location you are applying for (to become eligible for an inter-company transfer, you need to first work 6 months at your local office) Full-time availability and willingness to work remotely or travel to clients Compensation Depending on work experience: South Africa: R 20.000 / R 100.000 month The Netherlands: EUR 2.500 / EUR 8.000 month

Core Responsibilities

You will build machine learning models and work with both structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems. Additionally, you will communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to clients while contributing to disruptive AI-based business models.

Requirements

Candidates should have practical experience in machine learning and proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python. A background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related scientific field is preferred.
