Community & Events Intern Location: Amsterdam: shop, events and some remote work Hours: Around 20 hours per week Duration: 3–6 months Start date: Flexible About The Swap Club The Swap Club is a fashion community, shop and startup that makes clothing swaps fun, social and accessible. We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to help strengthen our community, events and shop experience. What you’ll do Welcome and assist visitors in the shop and at events Explain how The Swap Club works Style, present and organize clothing Help prepare and run clothing swap events Support guest communication through Instagram, WhatsApp and other channels Gather feedback and turn insights into new ideas Keep the shop inspiring, organized and on-brand Who you are Interested in fashion, sustainability, people and events Social, reliable, proactive and hands-on Curious about what motivates people Comfortable working directly with founders in a young startup Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus Experience in retail, hospitality, events, marketing or fashion is a plus What we offer Hands-on experience and real responsibility Direct collaboration with the founders A creative, social and mission-driven environment Flexible scheduling Free clothing or swap credit Access to our events and community Reimbursement of agreed travel and lunch expenses Internship fee You’ll work mainly from our shop and event locations in Amsterdam, with some flexibility to work remotely. Core Responsibilities

The intern will welcome shop visitors, assist with clothing styling and organization, and help prepare and execute clothing swap events. They will also manage guest communications via social channels and gather feedback to improve the community experience.

Requirements

Candidates should be social, proactive individuals with an interest in fashion, sustainability, and events. Fluency in English is required, and previous experience in retail, hospitality, or marketing is considered a plus.
