Community (Circle) Facilitator - Volunteer position Role description: We are looking for a Circle Facilitator for our Circles & Community Growth team, at Lean In Network | Netherlands Randstad. In this role you are responsible for orchestrating the Circle Programs at our local chapter by providing resources and support to our Circle Leaders. What is a Circle, you ask? The answer is incredibly simple: small communities that bring women together to build leadership skills, take action toward their goals, and cheer each other on along the way. We’re looking for a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational skills who can foster an engaging and inclusive environment. You will develop compelling discussion content and activities, or coordinate with industry experts, to ensure each session is impactful and valuable for circle participants. Additionally, you’ll manage communications and represent a crucial point of contact for Circle Leaders to keep the network informed. This is a volunteer role with a lot of external exposure and internal visibility that is responsible to co-create the circles’ agenda and inspire our community for achieving the objectives of the Foundation. This volunteer role is expected to take around 3-4 hours per week. You will be part of a small but impactful team and will report directly to the Head of Circles & Community Growth. Responsibilities: Circle Leaders Onboarding & Support: manage Circle Leaders' onboarding and provide always-on communication and support. Open Circle Scheduling: Schedule a monthly open circle to engage and attract potential circle members from the broader network. Materials Development: Develop circle materials such as guidelines, resources, and content. Content Inspiration: Coordinate with experts within and outside our network to gather content inspiration for circle meetings. On-Demand Facilitation Support: If requested by Circle Leaders, support them by facilitating circle meetings and promoting engagement. LeanIn Connect Engagement: Post content and resources within our network and engage with our Circle Leaders group, using LeanIn Connect as both a resource and engagement hub. Quarterly Forums: Lead the Circle Leaders quarterly forums, encouraging feedback sharing, relevant updates, training, and knowledge sharing. Check if you have the skills we need and apply: Leadership and Facilitation: You have 2 years experience in peer-to-peer mentoring, training specialist, moderator or circle participant. You are an expert at creating a safe environment, and keeping the conversation lively and engaging. Content Development: You have a passion for content creation and skills development, and are able to whip up impactful and engaging material that is as easy to read as it is impactful to read or watch. Communication Skills: You speak and write in Fluent English. Your words, both spoken and written, are your superpower, making complex ideas crystal clear. Organizational Skills: Able to manage project and content flows autonomously Technical Proficiency: You’re a tech-savvy pro, comfortable with all the latest digital communication platforms and tools. Community Building: Skilled at building relationships and community, both online (e.g. LeanIn Connect) and in person. Leadership Support: Comfortable supporting and coaching volunteer Circle Leaders, with a genuine interest in helping others succeed. Time and dedication: able to commit at least 3 to 5 hours of your time a week Must reside in the Netherlands. Core Responsibilities

The Community Facilitator is responsible for orchestrating Circle Programs by supporting Circle Leaders and managing community growth. Key tasks include developing discussion content, scheduling open circles, and fostering an engaging environment for members.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in mentoring, training, or moderation and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in English and residency in the Netherlands are mandatory requirements for this volunteer role.
