Job Description

As a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you develop state-of the art application software for challenging high-tech projects. In this role, you support our customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-efficient application software. In the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management and providing insight into large data sets. What excites you as a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer? From our office in Eindhoven and sometimes at our clients' premises you like to keep yourself busy with: Build and improve Google Cloud infrastructure, including GKE, IAM, networking, and load balancing. Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build, automated with Bash and Python. Manage infrastructure with Terraform and GitOps deployments with Argo CD. Improve platform reliability, security, performance, scalability, and operational excellence. Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability. Translate user and stakeholder needs into sustainable platform improvements. Provide operational support, resolve incidents, and prevent recurrence through root-cause analysis. Sounds good so far? We'd love to tell you more… Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code. Strong knowledge of observability, reliability, security, and operational excellence. A structured approach to problem diagnosis, impact communication, root-cause analysis, and corrective action. A service-oriented mindset focused on user needs and continuous improvement. Strong communication, teamwork, stakeholder management, and knowledge-sharing skills. Agile experience, ownership of outcomes, and preferably Python or scripting skills. This is what you can expect in return from Sioux Flexible 32-40 hour working week, with room to work from home.
