Within our organization, as a Crane Operator, you will have a very varied, challenging, and responsible position involving sorting, storage, and transshipment. As an operator, you will be primarily responsible for assessing and efficiently sorting metal-containing waste streams. You will also be responsible for loading production machines, storing and transferring waste streams, and independently loading and unloading trucks. You will also be responsible for the daily maintenance of your crane and will actively contribute to safety, order, and cleanliness on the yard. Riwald Recycling offers internal training to learn all processes and materials. In all your work, you will take safety, environmental, and quality requirements into account. Job Requirements You preferably have a completed education or relevant work experience at VMBO/MBO technical level Affinity with technology and metals Independent work with a forklift truck and shovel is an advantage You are a good communicator and have a good command of the Dutch language You can work independently, but also in a team. You don't mind starting early (7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and working overtime if necessary. You live in the vicinity of Almelo. Core Responsibilities

The Crane Operator is responsible for assessing and sorting metal-containing waste streams while managing the loading and unloading of trucks. Additionally, the role involves performing daily maintenance on the crane and ensuring the yard remains safe, clean, and organized.

Requirements

Candidates should have a technical education at the VMBO/MBO level or relevant work experience, along with proficiency in the Dutch language. Experience with forklifts and shovels is considered an advantage, and the ability to work early shifts is required.
