Job Description
As our Food & Drink Coordinator at Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operation of our Food & Drink department. A key part of your role will be managing and coordinating reservations for our Food & Drink outlets, including Goldfinch Brasserie, Peacock Alley and Vault bar. You will ensure a smooth reservation process, maximize our restaurant availability and revenue, and help us exceed our guests’ expectations from the very first interaction. Alongside reservations, you will work closely with and support the Director of Food & Drink with the day-to-day administration of the department. Your Responsibilities Will Include Managing and overseeing incoming restaurant reservations Maintaining and updating the reservation system Printing and updating menus Assisting with food cost control and other financial administration Supporting scheduling and departmental planning Assisting with general Food & Drink administrative tasks Working closely with the operational team to ensure reservations and guest requests are communicated correctly This is also a great opportunity to learn the Food & Drink operation from the inside. You will work closely with both the management team and the floor operation, giving you a strong understanding of our standards, our restaurants and the overall guest experience. What are we looking for? Experience preferable in F&D and/or reservations Fluency in the Dutch and English luxury language (speaking and writing) What benefits will I receive? Core Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate reservations for various food and drink outlets to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction. Provide administrative support to the Director of Food & Drink, including menu updates and financial administration.
Requirements
Previous experience in food and drink or reservations is preferred. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required for luxury service standards.
