Job Description
As Expert PPSS Intelligence (Strategic/Tactical), you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing and reporting on threats that could impact ING Global and The Netherlands’ people and assets. You translate strategic threat developments (e.g. geopolitical, ideological, criminal) into actionable advice for senior management and support tactical analysis to inform operational security measures. You will work closely together with the other PPSS experts and the PPSS leads for NL and the other locations in the international community of ING. You will collaborate and liaise with internal partners (e.g. Corporate Security, CISO, Compliance, ORM) and external entities (e.g. law enforcement and intelligence agencies) and act as a knowledge partner in crisis preparation and incident response. You will report to the Global Lead of PPSS. Key Responsibilities Conduct strategic and tactical threat analyses (physical, personal, geopolitical) Deliver clear advice to ExCo NL, SB/MBB and security teams Maintain and expand ING’s intelligence network Monitor developments in threat landscape relevant to ING NL Support scenario planning and exercises How To Succeed We hire smart people like you for your potential. Furthermore, You Have Ability and willingness to be on call 24/7 to respond to company-related security emergencies Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally as in writing Proven experience in security management, preferably in a financial institution or similarly regulated industry (strong understanding of security and intelligence) Robust understanding of, and solid experience with, personal and physical security, and safety principles and their impact on the mitigation of threats against people, assets, and information Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to safety and security Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field Competencies Proven ability to drive results in a complex, multicultural environment Strong strategic and tactical skills and ability to see the bigger picture Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic approach to security risk management Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment Rewards & Benefits We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life. Core Responsibilities
You will conduct strategic and tactical threat analyses to identify and report on risks impacting ING's people and assets. Additionally, you will provide actionable security advice to senior management and collaborate with internal and external partners to support incident response.
Requirements
Candidates must have proven experience in security management within a regulated industry and a strong understanding of physical and personal security principles. A bachelor's degree in security management or a related field is required, along with fluency in both Dutch and English.
