Job Description
As Director, Global HR Business Partner - Quality, you will serve as the strategic HR partner to the EVP Global Quality and their leadership team, shaping the organization behind the reliability of the medical technology that clinicians and patients depend on. You will help Quality strengthen regulatory expertise, leadership and culture, bringing an independent point of view on how expertise-driven organizations should be built and the credibility to advocate it at executive level. Reporting directly to the Vice President Global HR MedTech, you will be a key member of the MedTech HR Leadership Team and help define the standards and ways of working for dedicated global HR business partnering across MedTech.
Possible work locations: Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK
Your responsibilities:
Lead organizational design and organizational development for Quality, shaping how the function is structured, where expertise is located and how its leadership is composed.
Advise and constructively challenge the EVP Global Quality and their leadership team on organizational, talent and leadership priorities, bringing an independent and evidence-based perspective.
Translate capability gaps into coordinated build, buy, borrow and redeploy strategies in collaboration with business leaders and the HR Centres of Expertise.
Develop leaders who combine technical depth with people leadership and strengthen the culture that underpins sustained quality performance.
Convert global organizational decisions into executable plans, accounting for local employment law, consultation requirements and market practice across the countries in which Quality operates.
Partner with local HR organizations, the central MedTech HR team and the Centres of Expertise to deploy group-wide programmes in a way that fits Quality and feeds the function's requirements back into their design.
Apply people analytics, organizational insight and external market perspectives to inform executive decision-making.
Contribute to global transformation initiatives beyond Quality as a member of the MedTech HR Leadership Team and support the development of HR capability across MedTech.
Your Qualifications
Proven expertise in Organizational Design and Organizational Development, with a track record of designing organizations that enable business strategy, quality and future growth.
Significant experience partnering with executive leaders in global organizations, ideally as a Global HR Business Partner, with a proven ability to advise, influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
Experience leading large-scale organizational transformation initiatives, including organizational redesign, operating model evolution, capability building and change management in complex stakeholder environments.
Strong analytical, conceptual and systems-thinking capabilities, combined with the business acumen to translate strategic priorities into pragmatic organizational solutions and executable future-state visions.
Excellent communication, facilitation and executive presentation skills, with fluent English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field.
Experience supporting global Quality, Regulatory or other highly regulated functions, ideally within MedTech or Healthcare.
Experience establishing or further developing HR business partnering models, as well as Leadership Development, Talent Management and Capability Building initiatives.
Experience partnering with external consulting firms to develop and implement strategic organizational solutions.
Extensive executive and leadership coaching experience; a formal coaching certification is an advantage.
