Job Description

About This Position Our Construction team consists of six construction law attorneys, one legal associate specializing in civil law, and two team assistants (legal secretaries). Together, we assist our clients with construction projects of all sizes—from small to large, from single-family homes to residential neighborhoods, and from roads to wind farms. We advise on contracts and contract drafting, forms of collaboration, tenders, and general terms and conditions—including the UAV, UAV-GC, and DNR—and represent our clients in disputes. Our clients include medium-sized and large contractors (including several from the top 20 in the Netherlands), contractors specializing in building systems, suppliers of construction products, and developers. In addition, we focus on current topics such as the energy transition, circularity, AI, and smart buildings, and we help our clients navigate new regulations. Your focus After your orientation period, during which you’ll get to know our firm and our clients well, you’ll begin working on your own cases and building your own client portfolio. You’ll be immediately involved in our litigation and advisory practice and will be part of an ambitious team. You’ll also collaborate with attorneys other practice areas, such as project development. We like you to excel, so you get to do the work you're good at and enjoy doing. You translate your knowledge into practical advice. Your profile You have a degree in Dutch Law, with a focus on civil law, and at least 5 years of experience. Your analytical skills and judgment are well-developed. This makes it extra fun As an associate attorney, your salary will range from €5,468.77 to €9,113.40 (depending on your age and work experience) based on a 40-hour (full-time) workweek. You'll be part of an attractive bonus program. 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour work week. Maximum of 3 mandatory leave days, 2 of which are at the employer's expense. Requirements

You must hold a degree in Dutch Law with a focus on civil law and possess at least 5 years of relevant experience. Excellent proficiency in Dutch, both written and verbal, is required along with strong analytical skills and a passion for the construction industry.
