To give everyone in the Netherlands the opportunity to get to know Jesus. Ambitious? Absolutely. We believe that God empowers the Church to rise up and make an impact in society. That’s why, together with local churches, we reach out to those “outside the church” and show them God’s unconditional love. We do this through our ministries, such as Athletes in Action, StudentLife, and FamilyLife, and we also equip others to do the same. "All students in the Netherlands get the opportunity to get to know Jesus in a personal way!" What is Agape? The mission of Agapè is that everyone in the Netherlands has the opportunity to get to know Jesus personally. Together with the local church, we seek out people to show Gods unconditional love in Jesus Christ in words and actions. We believe that God gives the Church strength to rise and have an impact in society. We approach people where they are and testify of Gods unconditional love. We work target group-oriented and invest in relationships; we play sports with young people (Athletes in Action), invest in students (StudentLife) and strengthen families (FamilyLife). What is StudentLife? StudentLife reaches out to students to have conversations about faith and the meaning of life. Christians go out on campus to share Gods unconditional love so that every student has the chance to get to know Jesus. Who are we looking for and what will you do? We are looking for a City Coach for StudentLife. Every week you can be found at the university or college to train and coach students who already follow Jesus and to conduct faith conversations with students together with them. You work together with local student associations and churches. You are also in contact with colleagues and are involved nationally in events or other projects. You are Someone with a heart for God and for students. A networker at HBO/WO thinking and working level. Eager to learn, flexible, inspiring and full of initiative. Core Responsibilities

The City Coach will train and mentor students on campus to facilitate faith-based conversations and build relationships. They will also collaborate with local student associations and churches to expand the organization's reach.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a heart for God and students, possessing strong networking skills at an HBO/WO academic level. They must be eager to learn, flexible, and capable of taking initiative in a dynamic environment.
