Job Description

Do you enjoy combining financial control with business partnering in an international environment? We are looking for a Financial Controller who combines strong accounting expertise with a proactive mindset and enjoys improving financial processes. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting corporate departments with valuable financial insights and contributing to the ongoing digital finance transformation. What are you going to do? Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process for holding entities in Excel, SAP and SAP BPC in accordance with IFRS. Act as a trusted finance business partner for Corporate functions including IT, Treasury, HR, Legal, Tax, Operations and R&D. Support budgeting, cost control, variance analyses and financial reporting for management, stakeholder and auditors. Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and statutory reporting requirements. Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on automation, process optimization and continuous improvement. What do you bring? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in Financial Control, Reporting or Accounting within an international environment or accountancy. Strong knowledge of IFRS, Financial Control and Reporting; experience with SAP ERP and SAP BPC is an advantage. Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills combined with strong analytical capabilities. Proactive business partner with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach. A competitive salary: €5,789 – €6,797 based on a 40-hour workweek (depending on knowledge and experience). 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month (8.33%). Employee pension contribution is premium-free up to a salary of €64,479. Above this salary, the employee contributes 7%. €750 personal sustainable employability budget. Core Responsibilities

The Financial Controller manages monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes while acting as a finance business partner for various corporate functions. They are also responsible for driving finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process optimization.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics and possess at least 7 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in SAP and Excel are essential requirements for this role.
