Job Description

We are seeking a backend engineer to design, build and run various backend systems in a microservice landscape. You will be responsible for documenting, refining designs, implementing best practices, and ensuring quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Join our team to contribute to the development of robust backend solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and run backend microservices. Provide appropriate documentation, reporting, and formalization. Actively contribute to design and refinement sessions. Apply security, quality, and availability best practices. Contribute to automated quality controls in CI/CD pipelines. Create and conduct automated unit and integration tests. Participate in the regular DevOps incident management process. Required Qualifications Demonstrable experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot. Experience with design patterns, methodologies, and Clean Code principles. Insight into different test levels (unit tests, functional tests, API tests, mocking, end-to-end tests). Nice to have Experience with Kotlin. Experience with build & deployment tools such as Maven, Git, Docker, and Ansible. Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB. Experience with Linux scripting and DevOps tooling.

Core Responsibilities

You will design, build, and maintain backend microservices while implementing best practices for quality and security. Additionally, you will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in the DevOps incident management process.

Requirements

The role requires demonstrable experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot, along with a strong understanding of design patterns and Clean Code principles. Proficiency in automated testing and familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and Ansible are also expected.
