Guests are welcome here all day, whether they come for a business lunch, a well-deserved glass of wine, a delicious dinner with friends or a festive gathering with family. The menu is an international mix of both classic and innovative dishes. Responsibilities As a trainee you are responsible for offering excellent service in our Serre Restaurant. Amongst other tasks, you are responsible for advising and guiding guests, and offering service at a very high level! Your main tasks will be: Offering service to guests; Having good knowledge of the menu; Performing mise en place activities; Confirming reservations; Having basic knowledge of coffee, tea, (strong) alcoholic beverages and wine; Welcoming and guiding guests. You will work in shifts throughout 7 days per week. Your working hours are between 09:00 and 24:00. You will work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day including a 30-minute break. You will also be required to work on public holidays. What do we offer? Core Responsibilities

The trainee is responsible for providing high-level service to guests, including advising on the menu and managing reservations. Additional duties include performing mise en place and maintaining knowledge of beverages to ensure an authentic guest experience.

Requirements

Candidates must be students at a hotel school in the Netherlands with a strong passion for hospitality. Applicants should be guest-oriented, detail-focused, and flexible regarding shift work.
