Role Description These are full-time, on-site internship roles based in Leiden. Each intern will take on their own project within the Battery R&D group under the close mentorship of experienced scientists and engineers. Typical tasks may include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting collaboration between R&D, Production, and Commercial. Potential research topics include electrolyte research, failure mechanisms, fundamental studies, machine learning, process development, battery product design. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the technology development of the company, and will gain valuable experience that will help set up your career in the field of science, technology and engineering. Priority will be given to candidates who can complete a minimum six-month internship.
Core Responsibilities
Interns will plan and conduct laboratory experiments while collecting and analyzing data for the Battery R&D group. They will also prepare reports and presentations while supporting collaboration between R&D, Production, and Commercial teams.
Requirements
The role is open to curious and motivated students or recent graduates who enjoy learning and taking initiative. Candidates are preferred if they can commit to a minimum six-month internship.
