Position : IT Platform Engineer – Python & Azure Type : Contract Competencies : Digital : Microsoft Azure, Digital : Python, Digital : Kubernetes JD - You should be able to cover all aspects of reliable software development from planningdesign stage, hands-on development and testing to automated deployment. We are also looking for someone with the following profile Required Technical Skills Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design (Python preferred). Proven expertise with Azure Cloud services (storage, access management, networking, etc.). Knowledge of Data Governance practices (e.g., Unity Catalog). On experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB is a plus). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Strong understanding of the incremental software development cycle, DevOps, and CICD. Application of SOLID principles and design patterns. Experience with domain-driven design (DDD). Familiarity with unit test frameworks such as pytest and mocking libraries.

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, hands-on development, and testing. Additionally, you will manage automated deployments and ensure reliable software delivery within an Azure environment.

Requirements

Candidates must have strong experience in Python, Azure Cloud services, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Proficiency in DevOps practices, SQL/NoSQL databases, and domain-driven design is also required.
