About The Team Join our Logistics team, which is responsible for warehouse operations, inventory management, and parts procurement. The team consists of 13 professionals, 7 of whom are dedicated to procurement activities. We support operations across Europe and North Africa, making this a truly international function. Your Mission As Assistant Manager Parts Procurement, you will lead a team of six colleagues within the Production & Procurement department. What You’ll Be Doing Leading, coaching, and developing team members. Conducting performance and development reviews, providing day-to-day guidance, and supporting the team when required. Ensuring departmental objectives and performance targets are achieved. Advising on workforce planning, training, and development requirements within the department. Developing, maintaining, and improving supplier performance KPIs while ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting. Identifying new markets and sourcing opportunities for suppliers and products, negotiating favorable terms regarding quality, payment conditions, warranties, and delivery performance. Managing quotations and purchase orders in accordance with internal procurement procedures and technical specifications. Ensuring an efficient, reliable, and sustainable supply chain. Working closely with Inventory Management to develop forecasts and maintain a smooth flow of goods. Acting as the right-hand support to the Procurement Manager, including advising on supplier contracts and market developments. What You Bring Education MBO Level 4 in Logistics or a related field. NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 certification required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is considered an advantage. Experience Minimum of 5 years' experience managing and leading a procurement or purchasing team. Languages Fluent in English (Dutch a plus). Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. Core Responsibilities

You will lead, coach, and develop a team of six professionals within the Production & Procurement department to achieve departmental objectives. Additionally, you will manage supplier performance, negotiate terms, and ensure an efficient and sustainable supply chain across Europe and North Africa.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in procurement management and hold NEVI 1 and NEVI 2 certifications. An MBO Level 4 in Logistics is required, while a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is considered an advantage.
